Central Configuration Management SYSTIME Integration Server facilitates a corporate setup which is used to manage and control the configuration. The corporate setup acts as a central monitoring and control system that configures the parameters and sends the related data to the client. Thus configurations are centralized and it eliminates the need to have a setup for each client. Process Definition This feature allows you to configure the integration process and gives flexibility of defining the conditions for data transfer. Process definition ensures that data is transferred from the desired source to designated destination. This is achieved by mapping the path between two disparate business applications that serve as source and destination for a data transfer process. Modes of Integration Integration Server provides data integration using online and batch mode. Each integration process can be classified as an online or batch process based on the mode used for data integration. In an online or real time mode, data is transferred through a web server whereas in the batch mode, integration process can be scheduled to run at regular intervals. Logging and Monitoring SYSTIME Integration Server monitors the progress and status of each process that involves data transfer between different systems. The processes can be monitored from a central location and there is a provision for displaying the details of an integration process like status, source and destination of data, number of files transferred etc. Integration Server creates a log of every process which can be used as a reference for identifying and auditing the transactions. It also aids in troubleshooting the issues that arise in the normal execution of a process. |
